The Classroom Rules
- Make Good Decisions People who make good decisions think about how their choices will effect themselves and others.
- Solve Problems Problem solvers are able to stay calm, be objective, and find creative solutions when necessary.
- Be Respectful: People who are respectful value other people's perspectives, time, and space.
Students who make good decisions, solve problems, and are respectful will be seen..
Being considerate and saying things that do not hurt others' feelings.
Completing required homework assignments on time.
Bringing required classroom materials.
Taking proper care of materials, books, and play equipment and using as intended.
Sharing with others - try to include others if they want to be included.
Keeping the restrooms neat and clean.
Keeping all areas within the school neat and clean.
Immediately following directions of school adults at all times.
Using an appropriate voice for the appropriate place.
Walking while in the school building.
Getting permission to leave assigned area and/or to enter the building during recesses.
Using good manners while eating.
Paying attention at assemblies and in the classroom.
Not interrupting others when they are speaking.
Keeping their hands, feet, and objects to themselves.
Using appropriate language and gestures at all times.
Helping other students when needed. If another student appears hurt or injured, be sure to help them. If they still need help, immediately tell an adult.
Staying with designated school boundaries unless authorized by the duty teacher.
